Our Approach

A clean process is the only way to deliver a clean install.

A clear process from first conversation through commissioning and long-term support.

The four phases

How an Elevate project actually unfolds.

01

Discovery

We start with a real conversation, on-site if the building exists or with the plans if it doesn't. Goals, budget, constraints, who lives or works there, what's worked in past projects, what hasn't. The point isn't to sell a package: it's to find out whether we're the right fit at all, and then to build a brief we both believe in.

Deliverable: a one-page project brief that captures intent, rooms or zones, integration touchpoints, and timeline.

02

Design & Quote

We translate the brief into a real engineered design: wiring topology, device counts, scene logic, and integration with whatever else is on the project (lighting designer, architect, mechanical engineer, AV consultant). Then we hand you a fixed-scope, line-itemed proposal so you can see exactly what you're paying for before anything gets ordered.

Deliverable: a tiered proposal (Starter, Elevated, Premium) with hardware, labor, programming, and service expectations.

03

Install

Pre-wire, rough-in, trim-out, commissioning. We coordinate with your builder, electrical contractor, architect, and any other specialty trades: and we document each milestone as we go, so the next person to touch the system (including us, two years from now) knows what's there and why.

Deliverable: wiring diagrams, programming notes, device inventory, and milestone walkthroughs at each phase.

04

Tune & Support

Programming day one. Tuning weeks two through four. After that, we're your number for anything that needs adjusting: a new scene, a kid who's old enough to have their own light schedule, a tenant turnover, a building expansion. The system is designed to grow with the property, and we stay in the loop to make sure it does.

Deliverable: a tuned, documented system, a homeowner orientation, and an annual service relationship if you want one.

What we believe

Principles we work by.

The technology should disappear.

The best automation feels natural. The system should support the room without demanding attention.

One platform beats ten apps.

Fewer platforms mean cleaner logic, easier service, and fewer handoffs. We standardize around one automation foundation and go deep on it.

Documentation is part of the deliverable.

Device records, wiring information, programming notes, and system logic stay documented so the property remains serviceable long after handoff.

The same team finishes what it scopes.

Design, coordination, programming, and commissioning stay accountable to one Elevate project team from scope through handoff.

Read the proposal before you commit.

A clear scope protects the project. Start with a consultation and we will define the system before you commit to the build.
